Background: Vel-Sakai is an ancient seeress who was imprisoned within the Ashellay Bog centuries back by her daughter, Elendezra. She is a cross between a Delphic oracle and Baba Yaga. It is said she is older than the rift, perhaps older than the world's most ancient civilizations. Her knowledge of the world, its lore and ultimate destiny is unparalleled. It has been written that Fate herself cannot hide from Vel-Sakai's discerning glare. Few would disagree.
Physical Description: Vel-Sakai has many guises and thus her actual description would be impossible to explicate. In the initial tale Blackfell is the only person who can sense her true nature. To others she may appear beautiful, disgusting or utterly alien in appearance.
