Background: Rand Argall is an enigmatic figure in the employ of Sardion. He is a combination tracker/thief/spy and has been following the movements of Ignatz Sieff well before the initial tale begins. Essentially he is insurance should Sieff decide to betray the dark followers of Lateth. Rand's later alliance with Aertimisan and Blackfell causes him to call into question the deeper motives of his shadowy employer.
Physical Description: Rand is tall and has a hardy, athletic build. He has trained with the fabled Maloukia Woodsmen and thus is an excellent shot with the bow. His tracking sense and survival skills are par excellence. In battle he prefers to use stealth, rather than direct confrontation, discretion being the better part of valor.
