Character: ÆRTIMISAN

Age: 24 (approximately)

Height: 5'11'' (1.80m)

Weight: 165 lb. (74.8kg.)

First Appearance: Issue #1

Background: Ærtimisan was blinded in his youth by the self-serving thaumaturge Ignatz Sieff. Sent to a sanitarium, doomed to a life of abject misery, he was finally liberated by a failed Caliphanite Sword-bearer named Roderick-Kel. Kel had been Sieff's original target the night of Aertimisan's blinding and, to a certain degree, the man felt responsible for the boy's predicament. Taking Ærtimisan under his wing, the old warrior proceeded to instruct the lad in the art of blind-fighting and, having imparted all the wisdom he had to offer, provoked a mortal wound from his youthful protégé during a tragic, final duel. As the tale opens, Ærtimisan has gone in search of Sieff, determined to regain his lost sight and, if possible, come to terms with his blighted past.

Physical Description: Ærtimisan is tall and thin. His hair is long, unkempt and a dark auburn brown in color. He has deep-set eyes, a prominent nose and a small mouth. He is quite adept with the sword and is in good physical condition. His remaining four senses have been heightened as a result of his blindness and, due to his training under Kel's tutelage, he possesses excellent reflexes.
